The Monte Carlo Yachts 65 has been nominated Motor Boat of the Year 2013 in the Flybridge over 55ft category

The award was announced during the Gala dinner hosted at the Savoy Hotel in London on 14th January 2013 to celebrate the best boats in the world today. The stunning MCY 65 beat off competition from some of the world's finest manufacturers.

Shanghai, 28 January 2013. The Monte Carlo Yachts 65, favourably received by the public during the last two years, scoops now best Flybridge over 55ft in the Motor Boat of the Year Awards 2013. The awards have been voted on by the world-renowned editorial and technical teams from Motor Boat & Yachting and Motor Boats Monthly, and any boat nominated had to have been tested by one of the magazines before January 2013.

With this 20 meters boat, Monte Carlo Yachts reaffirms the character and strengths of its collection. The special character of Monte Carlo Yachts is found precisely in a timeless, immediately recognisable style. The MCY 65 embodies such character and offers countless unique features. With her elegant Portuguese bridge opening onto the comfortable bow lounge area, her spacious and shaded flybridge, a full width master bedroom, refined finishes of stitched leather and fine textiles, the MCY 65 truly deserves her nick name of Mini-Megayacht.

The Motor Boat of the Year 2013 Award enriches the trophy case of Monte Carlo Yachts; since September 2010 the Italian brand has collected 10 prizes: the Asia Boating Award, the Editors Choice Award, the European Powerboat of the Year Award, the "Barca dell'Anno" award, three World Yacht Trophies, two Motor Boat of the Year Awards, and the Nautical Design Award.

“These are recognitions that reward our strategy”, Carla Demaria, President of Monte Carlo Yachts declared. “We build yachts that will last in time, setting new canons for luxury, in which responsibility, sustainability and personality prevail. An elegant and never extreme product, innovative and noble”.
